the NCL Pearl is a beautiful ship! and the itinerary you chose is absolutely perfect!

You will absolutely LOVE Victoria Falls. It is so gorgeous there.

You chose the all the right things while choosing this cruise!

And the reason why maybe you didn't see it for '08 yet was because maybe NCL doesn't have all the cruises laid out yet..

I hope this helps!

Oh, P.S. If NCL doesn't have that itinerary in '08 I know that Holland America Line does. HAL is the same quality, if not better, as NCL.

If you're looking for a big cruise experience, it sounds ideal. If you're looking for something that can take further in, you might consider tours that offer smaller craft.

Both Natural Habitat and Geographic Expeditions offer these type of adventures.

That's an excellent itinerary. I did that same cruise last year (on the Norwegian Star) and had a great time. The Norwegian Pearl is NCL's newest ship and therefore the nicest. I had a great time on my cruise, and my ship wasn't as nice or as new as the Norwegian Pearl.

I think it is a good itinerary and NCL is a good cruise line. As long as you get to see the inside passage you will be happy, don't worry! You should go on a cruise-tour to Anchorage too but I don't know if NCL has those. Another place to see is Tracy Arm Fjord. If you get a chance you should fly to Alaska in the winter to see the Northern Lights. Too bad they don't have cruise to Alaska in the winter. Good Luck and have FUN!!
